I've been a patient at the Stockbridge office for about 7 or 8 years. 98% of my experiences are really great but when they aren't, its never the actual provider. Its either the front desk or the assistants.
Today it was the medical assistant by the name of Jaden. My appointment was just about completed & Jaden comes in the room and requests a urine test . I explained to her that my period was on & I felt uncomfortable providing one at this time. I also asked if I could return in 3 days to take one when my menstrual cycle would be off. She was EXTREMELY rude & robotic. She said the Dr said No . I didn't think it would be a problem, considering IVE BEEN A PATIENT ALMOST TEN YEARS & NEVER HAD A DIRTY URINE because I dont drink, smoke, or do any recreational drugs! So I asked her where was the Dr. At? She said he's in his office & you cant go in there. His office door was open, he was NOT with a patient, so I proceeded to tell him my issue. This medical assistant JADEN jumped in front of me all the while attempting to close the Dr's door in my face ! So as I'm trying to explain to the dr. What's going on she's yelling in my face "he said no, he said no!" We were so close in proximity, I could feel her breath on my nose. At this point the situation has become confrontational. Then finally Dr Galan says "give her the swab ." So the Jaden finally gets out of my face and walks off. I told Dr Galan I would be happy to take the swab test, as that was never offered as an option & in my opinion, considering the situation, it shoukd have been. After taking the swab, I was so upset , I didn't even make my follow up appointment. I cant believe I was just treated this way, at the clinic that I drive over an hour to be seen, every single month faithfully . There was no regard or even concern for me or my very personal issue. You would think another Black woman would understand, but as it stands she did not !! Rude, Obnoxious, & Confrontational at a health care facility where patients are already in excruciating pain. Not one apology attempted to be given.

Dr. Vincent Galan is such an amazing DR. He is very thorough he explained everything very straightforward; making sure you understand. He was prepared when I got there. He had all my past history treatment that was done. So he know exactly what to discuss with me. Great manners and very easy to communicate with
Great Doctor the health field needs more workers like him.

Dr. Wilkerson is awesome he's relatable and I especially love his spirit/personality. He has amazing "bed side manners " lol.

The entire staff at Pain Care project a friendly and positive attitude. I highly recommend the practice and Felicia Warren is a true professional dedicated to high quality patient care. Very attentive to all my questions and concerns, second to none.

Yes my husband came in for office visit and the doctor was very patient with us and explain everything so that we could understand his condition and what would be the best treatment

The doctor took the initiative to cover all bases that have been skimmed over by others. He picked up on subtle inuendos that others not even mention. I really appreciate (to tears) the thouroughness of this doctor, compared to what I am used to. It is gratefully appreciated. Thank you to the doctor and the practice that allows him to be that way.

Nicole Knight totally listens to my needs. She offers great advice. I would highly recommend her. It’s a shame that she is leaving. I’m going to miss her. I can’t believe the reasoning behind her departure. I hope the next NP I see is as understanding and respectful as Nicole. Big loss for Pain Care.
