Dr. Paul Chang was born and raised in southern California. He attended medical school at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA and completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of California, Irvine. After residency, Dr. Chang completed an ACGME accredited Pain Management fellowship at Loma Linda University. Dr. Chang is skilled in treating patients with different occupational and sports related injuries including back, neck, nerve, and musculoskeletal disorders. He is proficient in performing minimally invasive spinal surgeries, fluoroscopic guided spinal injections, discography, radiofrequency neurotomy, spasticity management, and electro diagnostic testing.

Dr. Chang holds board certifications in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. His clinical interests include multidisciplinary management of all pain, spine, and musculoskeletal disorders. Additionally, Dr. Chang is a Co-Investigator in two ongoing studies which are at the forefront of pain treatment using spinal cord stimulation technology.

In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Chang has also participated in mission trips to Lima, Peru, Fiji, and South Korea teaching English and assisting in medical clinics.
